最近订阅了Mashable!的RSS，从中能得到不少有用的资讯。可是有些东西我却觉得几乎没有价值，甚至出现得太多让我反感。比如下面这些：
- 30+ Skins For Opera
- DEL.ICIO.US TOOLBOX: 180+ Del.icio.us Tools and Resources
- 30+ 1-Column WordPress Themes
- 75+ Email Services That Aren’t Gmail
- 40+ Ways To Access Your Computer Remotely
- 5000+ Resources to Do Just About Anything Online
呵呵，标题中的正则表达式在每一条中都可以找到匹配。谁有这闲工夫去看这些长长的list呢？真应该用Yahoo! Pipes过滤一下 
反正这种过滤是很简单的。
Mashable!的确是个很有价值的站点，然而并不是每一篇文章都是精华。这是难免的，我曾经订阅过一段时间的译言，然而很快就发现其中的内容良莠不齐，甚至有很多东西让人反胃——“发现，翻译，阅读中文之外的互联网精华”，一个好网站就这样被一些垃圾给破坏了。如果将来再订阅，我可能选几个质量好一点的。
以内容为中心的，最好还是提高内容的质量来吸引读者，而不能贪图数量。如果每天有限的时间内要阅读上百的RSS更新，我会更加注意那些只有一两条更新的源，而不是几十条的（例如Mashable!）。
